I’m Kristina.
I work with people, communication and experience.

I create powerful experiences through design and communication — across digital, print and physical spaces, for diverse target groups, customers and users. I’m driven by the idea that thoughtful design can spark curiosity, create connection and leave a lasting impression.

Alongside my creative practice, I coach and mentor students, sharing ideas, experience and the joy of finding new perspectives.

The world is full of stories

Designing experiences in public places has been my interest for many years. I’ve created arenas for people to meet and communicate around in hospitals, bike tunnels, streets, train stations, business buildings and schools. The challenge is different for every project, but the joy and passion among people creating something together is always the same. Everyone has a story to tell.

Interactive trees

One late night, I was sitting with my sick child in the waiting hall in the Children’s hospital in Lund. I felt so lonely, wishing there was someone to talk to – someone having the same experiences. This was the inspiration to the interactive trees…

Stories in a tunnel

What do people dream of? What is a hero, what characters do people despise? Could stories be co-created by inhabitants in the village where I live? One summer, I and the inhabitants built interactive stories in a bike tunnel…

Maria Magdalena

Maria Magdalena Rudbeck was a patient at Sankt Lars psychiatric hospital in Lund, Sweden, from 1902 to 1955. With nothing but bedsheets and colored embroidery thread, she created astonishing, modernist machine constructions.

What if she had had access to paint, brushes, tools and an innovation lab? What might she have created then?

As a tribute to Maria Magdalena, I hand-painted a dress with a pattern inspired by her drawings. A celebration of a creative force that could not be contained.

The planet, my city and I

How do people experience that the climate change affects their daily lives? Is there a way to design environmental information in public places – for people to understand how their individual choices can help creating a sustainable society?

The focus of the project was on promoting public transport, and the outcome of the project a video to be run near the tracks at Malmö central station, as well as a master thesis.
